Estate Planning & Probate

Catron, Catron & Glassman boasts nationally recognized expertise in estate planning, probate, and trust matters.

The firm offers a wide variety of estate planning services and techniques from preparing a simple will or trust for modest estates to planning and probate administration of large estates.

We take care to understand our clients' personal situation and to select the best techniques to accomplish the client's goals, with special consideration of tax consequences and the welfare of the client's beneficiaries.

Civil Litigation

Litigation is a very complex process that often requires skilled legal representation.

Our litigation attorneys vigorously represent both plaintiffs and defendants in lawsuits involving many different areas of law. These areas of law include real estate, probate, family law, employment, construction, personal injury and business. Our attorneys' versatility and variety of practice is a valuable asset, enabling them to analyze fact patterns from a number of perspectives and to anticipate the client's and court's concerns.

Our attorneys are skilled in all aspects of litigation, including issue analysis and development, discovery, civil procedure, evidentiary rules, motions practice, and presentation.

Catron, Catron & Glassman’s litigators may also call upon the knowledge of other attorneys within the firm, and use our experienced paralegals to develop the most accurate and persuasive case presentation.

Real Estate

The firm offers experienced service in all areas of real estate law, including the purchase and leasing of real property, land use planning and regulation, restrictive covenants, easements, leases, quiet title suits, and condemnation proceedings.

We are skilled in negotiation, drafting, tax planning, and resolution of disputes involving real property.

Family Law

Catron, Catron & Glassman, P.A. handles numerous areas of family law including contested and uncontested divorces, property agreements, division of retirement, child custody and child support.  In each case, we will explore cooperative means of resolving conflict, including use of collaborative divorce avenues, and traditional negotiation.  We find that cooperative measures tend to resolve faster, in a more satisfactory manner for the client, and with less expense to the client.  Where litigation is necessary, we will aggressively seek court resolution of conflicts.

Immigration Law

Catron, Catron & Glassman, P.A., has a focused practice in specific areas of immigration law, including humanitarian based forms of immigration relief, Special Infant Juvenile Status guardianships, family based immigration, Citizenship, and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA - created by President Obama in response to Congress’ 2011 decision not to pass the Dream Act).  For other areas of immigration law, we are more than happy to give you referrals to attorneys who do handle those specific matters.

Our office makes an effort to understand each client’s immigration concerns, and address and identify potential immigration issues that may arise regardless of the area of law in which we are primarily advising our clients.

Insurance Law

The firm represents insurance companies, businesses and individuals in insurance matters and understands the role of insurance in estate planning, tax and commercial transactions.

Our clients benefit from our experience in representing both plaintiffs and defendants in litigation involving personal injury, property damage and economic loss resulting from negligence, and defective products.

Our business services include acquisition and the sale of businesses; formation and maintenance of corporations, general and limited partnerships, limited liability companies, and non-profit organizations; employment agreements; contracts and leases of real and personal property; secured transactions, and creditors rights.

Alternative Dispute Resolutions

We are trained in mediation, arbitration and settlement facilitation. In addition to representing and advising participants in alternative dispute resolution, our attorneys are frequently asked by the courts and other parties to serve as mediators, arbitrators and settlement facilitators.
