Thomas B.
Catron III is the grandson of the firm's founder, Thomas B. Catron.
He
received his bachelor's degree in 1947 and his juris doctor degree in
1950 from Stanford University.
Mr.
Catron has practiced in New Mexico since 1950 in all areas of law
including civil trials, appellate practice, real estate, trust,
probate and tax matters.
He is a
founder of the Museum of New Mexico Foundation and served as its
President for over twenty-five years. He is also a founding director
of Sunwest Bank of Santa Fe, serving as Chairman of Sunwest Bank's
Board of Directors for twenty years, and is a present and founding
director of The Santa Fe Opera as well as its past President and
Chairman. He is currently Vice President of the Spanish Colonial Arts
Society/The Museum of Spanish Colonial Art.
Mr.
Catron's current practice is primarily limited to real estate, wills
and probate, trusts, and taxation matters.
Mr.
Catron is a member of the American Bar Association's Sections on Real
Property, Probate and Trust Law and Taxation
