John
S.Catron received his juris doctor degree from the University of New
Mexico in 1951 and joined the firm after serving as assistant
district attorney in the Fourth Judicial District.
Mr.
Catron's current areas of practice include estate planning, probate, wills, trusts,
real estate, civil litigation and appeals. He is a
Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and has
served on the New Mexico Supreme Court Committee on Uniform Jury
Instructions, the New Mexico Supreme Court Disciplinary Board, and
the New Mexico State Bar Probate Code Revision Committee.
Mr.
Catron is a member of the Board of Managers of the School of American
Research, has served on the Bioethics Committee of St. Vincent
Hospital, and is a past president and on the Board of Directors of the
Santa Fe Animal Shelter & Humane Society, Inc.
