Thomas Benton Catron

(1840 - 1921)

Catron, Catron & Pottow is New Mexico's oldest law firm. It was founded in 1866 by Thomas B. Catron, who came to New Mexico in 1866, following the Civil War and practiced law in the New Mexico Territory before New Mexico became a state in 1912. During a practice that spanned a 

period of  55 years, T.B. Catron served in public offices ranging from Mayor of Santa Fe to New Mexico's first United States Senator. 

Catron, Catron & Pottow, P.A. was built on the foundation established by Thomas B. Catron and thrives today on the energy and dedication of his descendants and their partners and associates.
